Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the vision and roadmap for the company’s datastores portfolio, with Postgres at the center. You will define a modern managed database experience, adapting to state patterns from agents and enabling programmatic DB lifecycle actions at scale.

You will drive the technical and strategic direction for the Postgres data layer, partnering with engineering and customer-facing teams to build a trusted, resilient, and scalable data

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Product Management focusing on databases or data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Postgres architecture, operational model, and production usage.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to translate ambiguous reliability/infrastructure problems into a clear strategy and ship outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company's datastores, anchored on Postgres.
• Drive prioritization across data investments, balancing reliability work with product and business needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Product teams to shape the data layer's architecture for durability and performance.
• Develop a position on how managed Postgres should evolve to serve AI-native builders and workflows.
• Set developer-facing standards and abstractions to run production databases confidently without a DBA.
