Job summary

Grafana Labs, the company behind the open observability cloud, is seeking a Staff Product Manager for OpenTelemetry Experience. You’ll own end-to-end journey, instrument workloads, and help users send meaningful telemetry to Grafana Cloud in a fully remote role.

You’ll collaborate with global teams, define roadmap, balance SDK/instrumentation options, and shape a first-class experience for developers and operators. AI will be part of how you work.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and cross-product roadmap for healthy telemetry in Grafana Cloud
• Create coherent experiences for SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, and Collector deployment
• Eliminate causes of setup failure, abandonment, misconfiguration, and low-quality telemetry
• Set shared experience principles and success criteria across product and engineering
• Use research and data to prioritize investments and measure onboarding and telemetry health
• Partner with Grafana Cloud teams to transition telemetry ingestion to activation
• Extend OpenTelemetry experience positioning across products
