Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Product Manager for OpenTelemetry Experience to own the end-to-end journey of instrumenting workloads for Grafana Cloud. You will align across SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, and Collector deployment while guiding product direction and customer outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate complex telemetry workflows into usable experiences, and partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management in developer tools or observability.
• Experience leading multi-team strategy without direct authority.
• Strong OpenTelemetry knowledge: SDK instrumentation, OTLP, collectors.
• Experience building instrumentation systems or telemetry collectors.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and cross-product roadmap for OpenTelemetry journey.
• Create coherent experiences across SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, and Collector deployment.
• Identify and eliminate setup failures and low-quality telemetry.
• Establish shared experience principles across product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing and GTM to define product narratives and launches.
