Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Product Analyst to join the Product Analytics team. This role will partner with the AI organization to shape how we measure success for AI features like Grafana Assistant and Investigations, defining KPIs and guiding experiment design.

You will work across Product, Design, Engineering, and Data partners to translate data into actionable product insights. You will help define instrumentation, design experiments, and develop dbt models, influencing analytics

Qualifications

Experience partnering across product and engineering teams to define success metrics and KPIs.
Proven track record defining and tracking metrics for AI-powered features or workflows.
Proficient in writing complex SQL for analytics and data extraction.
Hands-on experience with product analytics tooling and data visualization tools.
Comfortable with implementing instrumentation, experimentation, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

Partner with Product to establish top-level KPIs, dashboards, and roadmaps.
Define success metrics for AI-powered product experiences (adoption, engagement, retention).
Instrument product data with Design/PM/Engineering for reliable AI analysis.
Design, evaluate, and interpret experiments to assess new AI capabilities.
Develop dbt models to transform user behavior data with Analytics Engineering.
Influence best practices for Product Analytics across teams as the company scales.
Contribute to long-term vision and strategy for Product Analytics.
