Job summary

Confluent is seeking a Staff PM for Cloud Networking to own the platform strategy and multi-cloud architecture. You will define the roadmap, align engineering and business teams, and drive adoption of networking models such as PrivateLink, VNet peering, and egress optimization.

You will mentor PMs, shape cross-functional processes, and present a compelling business case to executives while balancing cost, security, and customer needs. This is a remote US role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management with cloud infra, platform, or networking focus.
• Track record in shaping platform-level strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Fluent cloud networking knowledge across PrivateLink, VNet peering, DN, and security basics.
• Experience with enterprise-grade security, compliance, and connectivity needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across clouds.
• Define frameworks and standards for evaluating networking decisions.
• Drive architectural decisions with engineering leadership.
• Identify adjacencies and build a business case for them.
• Develop the product team through mentorship and feedback.
• Align stakeholders across product, eng, sales, and executives.
• Define and own success metrics linking milestones to business outcomes.
• Engage with strategic customers and articulate the platform roadmap.
