Job summary

Confluent is seeking a Staff PM for Cloud Networking to define the platform strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will own the multi-year roadmap, balance customer connectivity with cost and security, and drive as a co-decision-maker with engineering leadership.

You will shape how PrivateLink, VNet peering, Transit Gateway, and Private Service Connect are exposed, while also mentoring PMs and aligning stakeholders to execute on ambitious platform bets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, with cloud infrastructure or networking background.
• Track record of defining strategy and multi-year roadmaps for platforms.
• Fluency in cloud networking concepts (PrivateLink, VNet peering, Transit Gateway, Private Service Connect).
• Experience with enterprise customers, security/compliance requirements, and complex connectivity.
• Ability to partner with engineering leadership as a co-decision-maker on architecture.
• Strong analytical skills for unit economics and cost modeling.
• Experience mentoring PMs and elevating product thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Define frameworks and standards for evaluating networking decisions and launches.
• Drive architectural decisions in partnership with engineering leadership.
• Expand scope to adjacencies like network observability and cost tooling.
• Develop the product team and mentor Senior PMs.
• Build cross-functional alignment with executives and stakeholders.
• Define and own success metrics at the platform level (revenue, retention, cost).
• Engage with strategic customers and prospects in technical conversations.
