Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC is seeking a founding Staff Product Designer to establish the product language, interaction patterns, and design systems for an AI‑native B2B platform. You will own core experiences spanning AI agents, generated assets, data, and users in a fast‑moving startup setting in New York City.

You’ll work directly with founders and engineering to shape the roadmap, prototype ideas, and define collaboration models for product, design, and engineering in an AI‑driven

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping real‑world digital products used by customers.
• Staff‑level product design experience with strategic and execution capabilities.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a high standard of product quality.
• Ability to evaluate AI‑generated work and articulate when experiences feel generic vs. polished.

Responsibilities

• Own core product experience across AI‑powered GTM workflows.
• Design surfaces for requesting, shaping, reviewing, editing, publishing, and learning from AI‑generated work.
• Define interaction models for working with AI agents without micromanaging the agent.
• Establish creative standards and product language for AI‑native GTM software.
• Balance AI automation with user confidence, control, and transparency.
• Prototype new concepts rapidly before requirements are fully formed.
• Collaborate with founders and engineering to shape strategy and roadmap.
• Develop systems that improve product quality and design taste over time.
• Support cross‑functional collaboration in an AI‑native organization.
• Maintain high quality across strategic and detailed design work.
