Job summary

Preply is seeking a Staff Product Designer to tackle some of our most ambitious product challenges. You will partner with Product and Engineering to shape vision and strategy, balance priorities, and deliver bold experiences that scale globally.

This is a highly independent IC role where you may specialize deep in one area or span high‑priority initiatives, mentoring peers and elevating design standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Staff, Lead, or equivalent experience in a mature product design organisation, working on consumer‑facing, mobile‑first products at scale.
• A track record of shaping product vision and strategy, not just executing against it, in close partnership with Product and Engineering.
• Exceptional interaction and visual craft.

As a Staff Product Designer, you’ll take on some of our most complex and ambitious product challenges. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to shape and evolve product vision and strategy, challenge the direction when there’s a better path, and turn that thinking into exceptional experiences that ship.This is a highly independent, hands‑on IC role. Depending on the challenge, you may go deep within a product area or work across high‑priority initiatives. Beyond your immediate work, you’ll coach other designers, influence best practices, and help evolve the standards and ways of working that make Design at Preply stronger.
