Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a Staff Product Analyst to accelerate our evolution into a comprehensive voice AI platform. You will be the first analytics hire, reporting to the VP of Product, building measurement infrastructure and experimentation frameworks to scale product-led growth.

You’ll establish the analytics foundation for the product team, starting with PLG funnel optimization and expanding to multi-product portfolio patterns and strategic investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Staff-level expertise in product analytics and leadership.
• Proven track record accelerating PLG growth in developer-focused products.
• Strong SQL and data warehouse experience.
• Ability to build dashboards and analytics infrastructure without a dedicated data engineering team.
• Experience designing, running, and analyzing experiments with statistical rigor.
• Understanding of developer behavior and API/SDK adoption patterns.
• Experience as the founding analyst on a team.
• Leadership to establish best practices and mentor PMs on data literacy.
• Excellent communication translating technical findings into strategic recommendations for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics strategy for product-led growth—design experiments, build measurement infrastructure, and drive insights to increase conversion from signup to first programmatic request.
• Build robust analytics pipelines and dashboards from the ground up using Superset and Heap Analytics.
• Partner with product managers and designers to define success metrics, establish baselines, and instrument products correctly.
• Design and analyze experiments across the developer journey, with deep understanding of API/SDK adoption patterns.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales analytics partners to connect product usage with acquisition, activation, and downstream sales outcomes.
• Surface patterns in product usage to identify high-value use cases and customer segments.
• Synthesize insights across multiple products to inform longer-term product strategy and investment decisions.
• Establish experimentation best practices and analytical rigor as the team scales PLG motions.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations that shape product roadmap.
• Build analytics muscle for the team to empower PMs with PLG insights.
