Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer in Iuka, MS. The role focuses on analytical methods for aerospace structures, including bonded composites and metallic primary/secondary structures.

You will prepare detailed engineering reports and support MRB/ASIP efforts. Applicants should have extensive experience in finite element analysis, recognition of critical design criteria, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with aerospace structural analysis experience or related.
• Master's degree preferred with substantial structural analysis experience.
• PhD with aerospace structural analysis background is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document detailed structural analyses for aircraft repairs.
• Support MRB and ASIP activities with structural evaluations.
• Collaborate in a team, mentor less experienced staff, and manage multiple tasks.
