Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Staff Power Systems Engineer to own vehicle-level electrical power analyses and architecture for advanced aircraft. You will lead key analyses, including battery sizing, loads analysis, and bus integrity, and shape the power roadmap for the New Aircraft program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years in vehicle- or aircraft-level electrical power distribution systems and integration.
• Proven track record leading Electrical Loads Analysis, battery sizing, and power budgeting for aerospace/high-power platforms.
• Proficient in LTspice, SIMPLIS, Multi-Spice or equivalents.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-461/464/810/1760.
• Experience with SWaP trade studies and FMEA at vehicle/subsystem level.
• US work authorization and DoD Secret clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle system-level electrical power analyses and architecture.
• Shape electrical architecture trade studies and power roadmap for Fury platform and future variants.
• Develop integration-level test plans, VTPs, and validation criteria for power distribution.
• Ensure designs comply with MIL-STD-464, 461, 810, and 1760.
• Execute SWaP trade studies and FMEA to optimize performance and reliability.
• Model power systems using LTspice, SIMPLIS, or Multi-Spice.
• Collaborate with Systems, Avionics, Flight Test, and Hardware teams for requirements and integration.
