Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Staff Power Systems Engineer to own vehicle-level power analyses and architecture for UAVs and aircraft. You will lead ELA, battery sizing, and bus integrity while shaping power roadmaps for new aircraft programs and variants.

You will work across Systems, Avionics, Flight Test, and Hardware teams to ensure MIL-STD conformity, SWaP optimization, and successful ground/flight testing. This leadership role requires deep power engineering expertise and end-to-end ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle- or aircraft-level electrical power distribution systems and systems integration.
• Experience leading Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA), battery sizing, and power budget calculations for aerospace platforms.
• Proficiency with electrical simulation software such as LTspice, SIMPLIS, Multi-Spice.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-461/464/810/1760.
• Experience with SWaP trade studies and FMEA at vehicle/subsystem level.

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle system-level electrical power analyses including ELA, Battery Sizing, and Bus Integrity.
• Shape electrical architecture roadmaps for current and future aircraft programs.
• Develop vehicle integration test plans, VTPs, and validation criteria for power systems.
• Ensure designs comply with MIL-STD-464, 461, 810, and 1760 standards.
• Conduct SWaP trade studies and FMEA to optimize performance.
• Model power systems using LTspice, SIMPLIS, or Multi-Spice.
• Collaborate with Systems, Avionics, Flight Test, and Hardware teams.
• Support ground and flight test campaigns with telemetry reviews.
