Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on mechanical design experience in power infrastructure, smart energy, or modular equipment.
• Proven track record taking complex mechanical assemblies from concept to deployment.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• Experience in design for manufacturability/assembly (DFM/DFA) and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with prospective clients to interpret specifications and translate into mechanical requirements.
• Lead technical scoping and design reviews; produce ICDs and executable scopes of work.
• Develop 3D mechanical concepts, enclosures, frame weldments, and sheet metal assemblies with CAD and FEA/thermal tools.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve fabrication challenges and ensure quality.
• Mentor junior engineers, manage project schedules, and drive continuous improvement across programs.
