Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Principal, Design Engineering to architect and implement power system solutions for networking, storage and server products. You will lead multi-domain hardware designs, coordinating with software/firmware, mechanical and thermal teams to deliver robust power delivery across datacenter platforms.

You will drive architecture from rack-level power distribution to board-level POL solutions, ensuring power, thermal and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Proven engineering design experience in compute/storage/network products.
Knowledge of AI products and GPU servers is a strong plus.
Experience with OSFP/QSFP networking design equipment and testing is a plus.
Design experience with DDR5, 100GbE or faster Ethernet, PCIe Gen5 or above, 56G SERDES is a plus.
Strong organizational, planning, and program management skills.
Experience in a customer-facing environment is desired.
International culture awareness and ability to collaborate in a global team.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development and implementation of solutions for complex projects across multiple domains.
Provide technical leadership to engineers and act as a go-to expert.
Oversee non-technical elements of projects (people, budgets, schedules).
Review customer requirements and act as primary customer contact when needed.
Analyze trade-offs and develop deployment strategies for complex systems.
Lead deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide efforts.
Liaise with vendors, partners, customers and internal teams.
