Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead power design for high-density, high-current systems in San Jose. You will drive schematic design, power tree development, BOM ownership, and board layout while coordinating with manufacturing, test, and supply chain teams to ensure robust product development.

You will provide technical leadership, guide deployment strategies, and mentor engineers across the globe, advancing power integrity and advanced power delivery architectures.

Qualifications

• 11+ years' relevant work experience with 3+ in a leadership capacity.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to lead global teams of engineers and work with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead schematic design, power tree, BOMs, and board layout while driving cross-functional design reviews.
• Oversee power bring-up, debugging, and manufacturing support for deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineers.
• Develop and deploy deployment strategies and plans for power systems.
• Mentor Staff and Sr. engineers and guide project planning and scheduling.
