Job summary
Moog is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer in Gilbert, AZ to lead design and support for Integrated Avionics Units (IAU) within Space & Defense. You will provide technical leadership, mentor peers, and refine design practices for high-speed, high-reliability electronics in a multi-CCA package.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of engineering experience in avionics, digital electronics, power systems, or embedded development.
- Deep expertise in Sub-System Product Design & Lifecycle Management.
- Experience with IBM DOORs, CAMEO, Polarion or similar tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication; mentoring ability.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical authority for avionics sub-system design and integration within the group.
- Architect and design complex Command & Data Handling and Electronics Power Subsystems.
- Evaluate and provide feedback for avionics unit proposal development efforts.
- Lead system & product requirements derivation from customer and internal requirements.
- Perform deep technical design reviews and approve complex designs.
- Provide systems-level analysis including reliability, FMECA, and radiation.
