Job summary

Confluent is looking for a Staff PM for Cloud Networking to own the platform strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will define the architecture of the networking surface, set a multi-year roadmap, and align with engineering leadership on technical direction.

You will drive decisions on PrivateLink, VNet peering, and related models, mentor PMs, and build strong senior stakeholder alignment to secure investment for long-term platform bets. This role is remote.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, with 3+ years on cloud infra, platform, or networking.
• Proven ability to define strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Experience with enterprise customers, security, and compliance.
• Strong collaboration with engineering leadership as co-decision-maker.
• AI-native product management mindset and tooling awareness.
• Mentor PMs and develop team capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Define frameworks and standards for networking decisions and cost attribution.
• Drive architectural decisions in partnership with engineering leadership.
• Expand scope to include network observability and cost tooling.
• Develop the product team and raise the bar on customer research.
• Build senior stakeholder alignment and secure multi-year platform bets.
• Define and own success metrics linking tech milestones to revenue and cost efficiency.
• Engage with strategic customers and prospects in technical conversations.
