Job summary

Box Redwood City seeks a Staff Product Manager to lead AI Infrastructure and Compliance, shaping governance, permissions, and scalable security for AI across Box products. You will partner with security, legal, and engineering to meet FedRAMP, export controls, and enterprise requirements, while engaging with large customers on governance needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience.
• Experience owning technically complex platform, security, governance, compliance, infrastructure, or enterprise products.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML systems and emerging AI security risks.
• Comfort with content storage, permissions, identity, authorization, auditability, and policy enforcement.
• Experience coordinating across multiple engineering and product teams.
• Ability to define strategy at Staff level in ambiguous spaces.
• Excellent communicator to engineers, customers, executives, and stakeholders.
• Experience with large enterprise customers and enterprise security/governance needs.
• Experience with FedRAMP, DoD, export controls, data governance, DLP, or security policy platforms is a strong plus.
• Experience building AI agents, platforms, or enterprise content systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for AI Infrastructure and Governance & Compliance.
• Define AI sessions and agent activity permissioning, storage, and governance.
• Build auditability and observability for AI usage.
• Define Box’s Agent platform approach for security use cases.
• Develop admin controls for model selection and policy enforcement.
• Partner with Security, Legal, Compliance, Product and Engineering to meet enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects on AI security architecture and permissions.
• Drive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Engage with strategic enterprise customers to translate needs into platform capabilities.
• Communicate strategy and trade-offs to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Manage model lifecycles to ensure neutrality and compliance.
