Job summary

Box in Redwood City is seeking a Director, Partner Architect to lead technical innovation across our strategic partnerships and partner ecosystem.

You will collaborate with internal teams and partners to design, develop, validate AI-driven integrations, prototype solutions, and scalable playbooks that accelerate joint customer value.

This role reports to the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and offers equity, benefits, and the chance to shape Box's AI-enabled go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in solution architecture or related AI/SaaS roles.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with partner ecosystems and pre-sales activities.
• Ability to design repeatable AI prototype integrations.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions.
• Familiarity with hyperscalers and enterprise software partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize data + AI opportunities for solutions with key partners to reinforce Box's go-to-market plays.
• Collaborate with strategic partners to identify, design, develop, and validate AI prototypes and proof-of-concept integrations.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for internal teams, customers, and partner platforms to enable scalable implementations.
• Design and maintain technical playbooks, architecture diagrams, demo libraries, and deployment patterns.
• Support high-value pre-sales engagements with technical discovery, demos, and workshops.
• Translate partner insights to product, marketing, and sales roadmaps to influence strategy.
• Represent Box externally through demos and solution design sessions, communicating product vision.
