Job summary

Box seeks a Senior Team Manager for Intelligence & Operations in the Redwood City area, leading a procurement and spend-experience team. You’ll own platform strategy for Zip, Navan, and Brex, drive AI-first process improvements, and partner with Strategic Sourcing, Controllership, Legal, and IT to optimize spend workflows.

You will design governance, policies, and scalable controls, while measuring outcomes and driving continuous improvement across S2P/P2P, T&E, and card programs.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of procurement, procurement operations, or related experience.
• Experience leading a team of 5+ with accountability and talent development.
• Strong analytical, root-cause problem solver capable of data-driven decisions.
• Translate business needs into process and system requirements for procurement programs.
• Experience with procurement platforms and spend-management programs in a global org.
• Transformation/PM experience: process redesign, system implementations, workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team: set priorities, ownership, accountability, and development opportunities for Procurement Intelligence & Operations.
• Own platform strategy and governance: manage Zip, Navan, Brex with end-to-end policy and controls.
• Redesign how work gets done, AI-first: identify where AI/automation/self-service reduces manual effort.
• Partner cross-functionally: align with Strategic Sourcing, IT, Enterprise Systems.
• Measure and act on outcomes: track cycle time, volume, compliance, and employee experience.
• Enable self-service: build SOPs and training leveraging AI tools and agents.
• Drive operational execution and issue resolution: manage tickets and ensure on-time deliverables.
• Establish roadmaps and workflows for concurrent projects to maintain organization.
