Job summary

Amazon Responsible AI is seeking a Sr. Product Manager - Technical to define the product vision for AI governance at Amazon scale. You will build tools and experiences that help thousands of builder teams develop AI responsibly without slowing down, turning ambiguity into a prioritized roadmap with customer value.

You will own end-to-end lifecycle for responsible AI tooling, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and policy experts to ensure compliance and impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Amazon's AI governance platform.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for responsible AI tooling from discovery to adoption at scale.
• Translate regulatory requirements into builder-friendly product experiences and workflows.
• Drive strategy for AI system discovery, risk classification, and compliance evidence collection.
• Define metrics and KPIs to measure adoption, tool effectiveness, and governance coverage.
• Partner with scientists to shape AI-powered features and model integration into the product.
• Conduct customer research with internal builder teams to understand pain points.
• Work cross-functionally with Privacy, Legal, Security, and RAI Science to meet obligations.
• Influence engineering architecture to scale the AI portfolio.
