Job summary

Wpromote is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive across platform engineering, architecture, and data tooling. This role emphasizes ownership of cloud foundations, secure patterns, and developer experience across multiple stacks.

You will mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and partner with teams to deliver scalable, reliable systems. Remote-friendly with US-wide opportunities, including LA/Chicago/NY hubs.

Qualifications

• Significant, hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, with multi-domain ownership across platform engineering and security.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and production workloads.
• Strong CI/CD expertise using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and GitOps principles for automated releases.

Responsibilities

• Architect and improve cloud foundations to support scalable, secure workloads.
• Design platform capabilities across GCP, Kubernetes, serverless, CI/CD, observability, and developer tooling.
• Establish and improve GitOps workflows with GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Terraform, and Helm.
