Wpromote is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, deploy, and advance our security program. The role operates as a senior IC, partnering with IT leadership to drive secure architecture across the organization, including cloud, IAM, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience
• Detection engineering including SIEM, detections, log pipelines
• 4+ years of hands-on security cloud engineering (GCP preferred)
• Deep IAM expertise including SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning
• SaaS identity security depth including phishing-resistant MFA, secrets-management, OAuth governance
• Hands-on incident response and forensics methodology
• EDR posture experience (CrowdStrike or equivalent)
• Experience prioritizing vulnerabilities by risk and business impact

Responsibilities

• Own Security Tooling Portfolio: evaluate, integrate, and rationalize the security tool stack
• Own Identity and Access Architecture: design identity, access, and session governance
• Govern Cloud Security Posture: define security requirements for the GCP environment
• Advance Authentication and Secrets: drive MFA strategy and secrets-management
• Govern OAuth and Token Lifecycle: app governance and token management
• Own Incident Response: lead investigations and coordinate external partners
• Apply Security Automation and DaC: IaC and automation as code
• Develop Internal Capability: mentor team members and inform decisions
