Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design, build, and operate core systems for a rapidly scaling technology company. You will own major projects from architecture through deployment and drive improvements in performance and observability.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and help shape the engineering direction as the platform scales. This is a remote US opportunity with strong ownership expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, Rust, Java, or similar.
• Strong system design and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience operating production systems.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production software systems.
• Own significant technical projects from architecture through deployment.
• Develop scalable services, APIs, infrastructure, and internal tooling.
• Solve complex performance, reliability, and scalability challenges.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on technical requirements.
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical design reviews.
• Improve engineering quality, observability, and operational practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
