Job summary

Checkfront is hiring a Staff Platform Engineer to join the Manifest team. This hands-on role involves owning critical infrastructure and enhancing the developer experience in a high-autonomy environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with product engineers and DevOps leadership, ensuring the platform is ready for real operational demands. This is an opportunity to shape the foundation of a new product at Checkfront.

Qualifications

• Deep production experience with AWS services, especially ECS/Fargate and RDS/Aurora.
• Experience designing systems for global availability and disaster recovery.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience, ideally with Pulumi or Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the infrastructure that supports Manifest, including AWS environments.
• Work with Pulumi and TypeScript to define and maintain infrastructure as code.
• Lead observability and incident readiness work, including metrics and dashboards.
