Job summary

Built Technologies is hiring a Staff Product Manager for the Platform team. You will own critical platform areas, align with growth goals, and drive zero-to-one efforts across core services like authentication, approvals, and APIs to support scalable real estate finance applications.

You will work with Platform engineers, product peers, and GTM to ensure adoption, reliability, and customer impact while shaping the product organization’s practices and delivery rhythm.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in product management at growth-stage or scaling tech companies.
• 4+ years managing platform teams and technical products as a Product Manager.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to discuss architectural trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own definition, execution, and delivery for your product area—write PRDs, groom backlogs, plan sprints with engineering rigor.
• Collaborate with application teams to translate needs into a platform roadmap.
• Partner with Engineering Director for Platform to plan scale, reliability, and developer productivity investments.
• Understand lenders, portfolio managers, owners, developers, and contractors to identify problems and craft solutions.
• Define success metrics and OKRs; prioritize roadmaps based on evidence and outcomes.
• Drive zero-to-one product efforts from discovery to delivery, navigating ambiguity with judgment.
• Present roadmaps, delivery plans, and demos to gain executive and customer trust.
• Partner with GTM teams on go-to-market strategy and ensure adoption of platform capabilities.
• Provide feedback on engineering designs and champion customer needs during implementation.
• Share best practices to improve collaboration between Platform and Application teams.
