Job summary

SmartRent seeks a Senior Product Manager, Platform, to own the product strategy and execution for the operational layer that connects SmartRent's platform to the systems and teams that sell, implement, support, and service our customers. This role operates with autonomy across platform operations, onboarding, integrations, and hardware experiences.

You will balance foundational platform work with strategic initiatives that reduce friction, improve time-to-value, and drive service delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, CS, information systems, or related field.
• 5–7 years of product management, platform or infra in B2B SaaS.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, integrations and data flows.
• Experience reducing operational complexity via platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product vision for how Product Platform integrates with business systems.
• Own outsourced partner relationships, tooling requirements, SLA frameworks.
• Own customer journey from contract to go-live and drive self-service readiness.
• Own end-to-end installer workflow from scheduling to device provisioning.
• Define data flows, API contracts and middleware with platform engineering.
• Translate multi-system requirements into PRDs with acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate across engineering, operations, revenue, and partners without direct authority.
