Built is hiring a Staff Product Manager for the Platform team in Nashville. You’ll own critical platform work, drive zero-to-one initiatives, and collaborate with engineering, application teams, and GTM to deliver scalable, reliable services that power capital workflows.

You’ll define OKRs, guide roadmaps, and influence leadership with clarity and rigor. The role emphasizes customer-centric delivery, strategic thinking, and strong execution across multi-team efforts.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of product management experience at growth-stage or scaling tech companies.
• 4+ years managing platform teams and technical products as a Product Manager.
• Strong technical aptitude—comfortable discussing architecture with engineers.
• Proven zero-to-one product building with measurable value.
• Experience running PDLC across complex, multi-team environments.
• Cross-functional partner who earns influence through diligence and candor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership and enterprise customers.
• Deep experience in B2B SaaS; construction finance or fintech domain is a differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Own definition, execution, and delivery for your product area with PRDs, grooming backlogs, and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with application teams to translate needs into a platform roadmap.
• Partner with Platform Engineering Director on scale, reliability, and productivity, aligned to quarterly plans.
• Understand customers deeply—lenders, portfolio managers, owners, developers, and contractors.
• Define OKRs and prioritize the roadmap based on evidence of success.
• Drive zero-to-one product efforts from discovery to delivery.
• Present roadmaps, delivery plans, and demos to executives and customers.
• Partner with GTM on go-to-market strategy and ensure adoption of capabilities.
• Provide feedback on engineering designs and trade-offs.
• Share best practices to improve collaboration and PM team quality.
