Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the Agentic Platform—the foundational layer across agent Runtime, MCP connectors, intelligence layer, evaluation framework, developer experience, and governance.

You will partner with Engineering, CIO org, and domain teams across GTM, HR, Finance, and Product to deliver a platform that speeds time-to-production, ensures security and reliability, and scales with the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years on internal platform, infrastructure, or developer-experience products.
• Deep experience building platforms that other teams build on; you understand API design, developer ergonomics, and self service.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms, agent frameworks, LLM-powered apps, or agentic systems; you know agent runtimes and evaluation.
• Strong ability to read architecture diagrams, discuss trade-offs with engineers, and prioritize deeply technical work.

Responsibilities

• Own the Agentic Platform strategy and roadmap. Define ships, order, and rationale; translate outcomes into platform capabilities.
• Define and drive the agent and runtime; establish managed agent runtime, gateways, and governance.
• Build MCP connector ecosystem; strategy for standardized connectors, identity propagation, and SDK
• Establish the intelligence layer with knowledge graph, context graph, and memory; ensure unified retrieval with traceability.
• Ship the evaluation and quality framework; CI/CD gates, offline/online evaluation, and domain-specific judges.
• Design the developer experience; self-service provisioning, templates, SDKs, CLI, sandbox environments, fast idea-to-production (<4 weeks).
• Define the federation and adoption model with three tiers and governance gates; gold-standard promotion pipeline.
