Job summary

Our client is a leading tax technology platform seeking a Product Manager, Platform to own the shared technical foundation powering current and future modules. You will set platform strategy, drive cross-product decisions, and ensure scalable services across the portfolio.

The role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Product, Security, and Infrastructure, focusing on APIs, authentication, data infrastructure, multi-tenancy, and integration services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management, with platform or developer tooling focus
• Strong API, microservices, and cloud concepts
• Experience building internal platforms or shared services
• Track record of defining SLAs and managing technical debt
• Able to translate infrastructure needs into roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap for shared infrastructure: APIs, auth, data layer, multi-tenancy, CI/CD
• Define platform investment priorities balancing internal productivity and scalability
• Drive build-vs-buy decisions across tooling
• Collaborate with product-line PMs to identify shared needs
• Own integration infrastructure strategy across tax software ecosystems
• Define standards for data validation, key management, and data integrity
• Improve integration reliability and resolve operational pain points
• Write PRDs and technical requirements for platform initiatives
• Ensure SOC 2 Type II compliance and secure data handling
• Define data access models, retention, and audit requirements
• Partner with Security and Compliance teams
