Job summary

Motive is seeking a Staff Engineer on the Developer Productivity team to build automated bootstrapping and delivery pipelines for the Motive platform across SaaS, Mobile, and Embedded/IoT products. You will focus on scalable distributed services, mentoring engineers, and advancing self-service tools.

You will define direction, improve CI/CD, and enhance local development experiences while ensuring reliability and performance of existing systems, with a bias toward secure, maintainable

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering experience.
• BS degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience building CI/CD infrastructure with multiple pipeline solutions (Tekton, Prow, CircleCI, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Github Actions).
• Improving the SDLC release process.
• Streamlining developer environments (Ansible, local Kubernetes).
• Git flow and versioning expertise.
• Reproducible builds across the org.
• Advocate for best engineering practices.
