Job summary

DOSS, San Francisco-based, is building an AI-native Operations Cloud for real-world product businesses to manage the flow of goods, dollars, and data in real time. This role focuses on modeling, migrations, and AI-enabled tooling to support scalable, secure, and observable enterprise operations.

You will design the core data model, build a Git-style migration system, scale analytics, and ship declarative APIs that treat business processes as code, while mentoring the team to maintain high

Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale ETL on databases like Postgres, Elasticsearch, DuckDB, Memgraph.
• Using cloud services to build + deploy reliable web applications.
• Working in abstractions to build complex graph-based architectures that scale.

Responsibilities

• Design the core EAV data model & schema‑as‑code platform.
• Build a Git-style version-control + migration engine.
• Engineer AI-assisted tooling that uses foundation models for schemas.
• Scale our white-labeled data warehouse for analytics and automation workloads.
• Create Terraform-like declarative APIs & SDKs.
• Deliver end-to-end observability & search across data domains.
• Build enterprise guard rails into a composable system.
• Mentor and shape engineering culture in collaboration with product/design.
