Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer- Materia AI to design, develop and evolve cloud-native platforms powering AI workloads. You will be a hands-on technical leader, mentoring teammates and shaping architectural decisions across multi-cloud environments.

You will build scalable, secure infrastructure with Kubernetes, AWS and GCP, establish robust CI/CD pipelines, and drive production readiness through monitoring and SRE practices.

Qualifications

• .Experience with production-grade CI/CD, security and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of cloud-native platforms for AI workloads.
• Deliver AI-driven backend services in production.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, frontend developers, PMs, and SREs to build robust services.
• Develop reference CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Playwright, Snyk.
• Develop Go CLI tools to streamline developer workflows.
• Establish and improve DORA metrics to enhance velocity and quality.
• Design scalable, secure production infrastructure using Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP.
