Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in backend development, platform engineering, production engineering, or SRE.
• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining a backend service and client interfaces for products.
• Deep experience troubleshooting DNS, TCP, IP, and TLS protocols.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud-native services, containers, orchestration, object storage, managed PostgreSQL, serverless, networking, IAM, IaC, secrets management, and pub/sub messaging.

Responsibilities

• Innovate with startup speed and enterprise scale.
• Deliver AI-driven backend services powering generative AI agents and orchestration systems.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, frontend developers, product managers, and SREs to build robust services.
• Develop and maintain reference CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Playwright, and Snyk.
• Lead production engineering with scalable, secure, cost-effective infrastructure on Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and AI platforms.
• Enforce platform security using multi-cloud and CNCF tools, integrate with Thomson Reuters infrastructure.
• Monitor, log, and alert using DataDog and LLm observability tools.
• Set up processes for a team of 150+ product managers, researchers, and engineers.
