Job summary
Xometry, NASDAQ: XMTR, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Core Platform team in a hybrid role at either North Bethesda, MD or Waltham, MA. You will architect and integrate core services, enabling zero-latency DFM feedback and seamless procurement within partner ecosystems.
The role requires 12+ years of software development, deep Python and AWS expertise, and proficiency with modern frontend frameworks.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expert-level mastery of Python, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks (React/NextJS) used for complex enterprise applications.
- Proven experience shaping the technical direction of multiple teams and establishing engineering patterns.
Responsibilities
- Design high-performance solutions that extend beyond a single org and establish engineering standards for enterprise integration.
- Lead AI-related efforts and mentor engineers on AI tooling to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- Define reliability and security standards for enterprise-grade deployments, multi-tenant management, and partner-hosted or Xometry-hosted environments.
