Xometry, a NASDAQ-listed company, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead architectural evolution of its Core Platform. You will re-architect core services to run natively within partner ecosystems, enable zero-latency DFM feedback, and drive one-click procurement inside enterprise design environments.

The role is hybrid, based in North Bethesda, MD or Waltham, MA, with significant influence across AI, data, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level Python and AWS infrastructure.
• Frontend experience with modern frameworks (React/NextJS).
• Proven systems architect capable of guiding multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance solutions that span multiple orgs.
• Lead integration of AI/ML pipelines into the application layer.
• Define reliability and security standards for enterprise deployments.
• Mentor engineers on AI tools and best practices to accelerate delivery.
