Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive the architectural evolution of our Core Platform. You will re-architect core services to integrate with partner ecosystems, enabling zero-latency DFM feedback and seamless procurement within customers’ native environments.

You will guide AI/ML integration, establish enterprise SLIs/SLOs, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, data science, and marketplace teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level Python and AWS infrastructure.
• Experience as a systems architect shaping technical direction across multiple teams.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance solutions that are extensible across ecosystems and partner environments.
• Lead integration of AI/ML pipelines into the application layer with scalable serving and real‑time analysis.
• Define reliability, security standards for enterprise deployments and multi-tenant deployments.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to guide technical strategy.
