Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead architectural evolution of its Core Platform, embedding AI and ML pipelines into the enterprise application layer. You will re-architect core services to run natively in partner ecosystems and set engineering standards across multiple teams.

You will guide strategic direction, drive 6–12 month initiatives to production, and collaborate with senior leadership to balance risk and reward in a complex, enterprise SaaS landscape.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience
• Expert-level Python, AWS infrastructure, and frontend frameworks (React/NextJS)
• Proven systems architect with ability to shape technical direction

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance solutions that extend beyond a single org
• Integrate production ML pipelines into the application layer
• Establish engineering patterns for enterprise scale and security
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across marketplaces, data science, and engineering teams
