An established industry player is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to deliver exceptional care in a hybrid role. This position involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, where you'll coordinate multidisciplinary teams and educate residents. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and possess a North Carolina medical license. Overview: The Pulmonary Critical Care Physician (inpatient, outpatient, hybrid, full-time, part-time, and/or relief) is responsible for providing exceptional care to Cone Health patients and fulfilling all clinical duties.
Responsibilities: Providing inpatient and/or outpatient pulmonary critical care. Coordinating multidisciplinary teams in assigned areas. Educating Cone Health residents and students. Participating in or contributing to medical research. Using independent judgment for diagnosis, treatment planning, and leading the interdisciplinary team (including advanced practice providers) to meet patient care goals.
Qualifications: Board certification(s) with the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (board-eligible candidates are acceptable if they are current fellows or have completed training within the last five years). Must obtain an unrestricted North Carolina medical license, DEA registration (North Carolina), and medical staff privileges at Cone Health.
