Cone Health is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to provide exceptional care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves coordinating care, educating medical residents, and contributing to research. Overview: The Pulmonary Critical Care Physician (inpatient, outpatient, hybrid, full-time, part-time, and/or relief) is responsible for providing exceptional care to Cone Health patients and completing all clinical responsibilities.
Responsibilities: Providing inpatient and/or outpatient-based pulmonary critical care medicine. Coordinating multidisciplinary team services in assigned areas. Educating Cone Health residents and students. Contributing to medical research. Using independent judgment in diagnosis, treatment planning, and guiding the interdisciplinary team (advanced practice providers) to achieve patient care goals.
Qualifications: Board certification(s) with the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (board eligibility acceptable if a current fellow or within five years of training), an unrestricted North Carolina medical license, unrestricted DEA license (North Carolina), and Cone Health medical staff privileges.
