Overview: The Pulmonary Critical Care Physician (inpatient, outpatient, hybrid, full-time, part-time, and/or relief) is responsible for providing exceptional care to Cone Health patients and fulfilling all clinical duties.
Responsibilities: Deliver inpatient and/or outpatient pulmonary critical care. Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts in assigned areas. Educate Cone Health residents and students. Contribute to medical research. Exercise independent judgment in diagnosis, treatment planning, and leading the interdisciplinary team, including advanced practice providers, to meet patient care goals.
Qualifications: Board certification(s) with the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (board-eligible candidates are acceptable if currently a fellow or within five years of training), valid North Carolina medical license, unrestricted DEA registration (North Carolina), and Cone Health medical staff privileges.
