Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Michigan seeks a licensed pharmacist to deliver patient-centered care and advance clinical services. You will fill prescriptions with accuracy, educate patients, and collaborate with a team to grow the pharmacy practice.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or PharmD required and licensed in-state
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy settings
• Immunization certification or ability to obtain
• Knowledge of Meijer policies and state/federal regulations
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians and expand the pharmacy business.
• Educate patients and colleagues to improve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and applicable laws.
• Oversee operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
