Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in Michigan. You will work in a community setting, delivering patient-centered pharmaceutical care and clinical services including immunizations.

Responsibilities include accurate dispensing, educating patients, mentoring technicians, and maintaining operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge. A Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD/BS degree and state license are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science degree.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community practice experience.
• Understanding of state regulations and Meijer policies.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians; motivate team to grow the pharmacy business.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
