Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacy professional dedicated to patient care and team leadership in a dynamic retail setting. You will fill prescriptions, educate staff, and ensure adherence to policies while delivering immunization services and expanding clinical offerings.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with leadership to advance Meijer’s pharmacy services across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and applicable laws.
