Job summary

Ingles Markets Pharmacy in Tennessee is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe dispensing, provide patient counseling, and support daily pharmacy operations. You will collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality service in a retail setting.

The role requires an active pharmacist license, PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, CPR certification, and excellent customer service. Prior immunization experience and strong regulatory knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the applicable state.
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately in line with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Provide patients with clear, professional counseling on medications.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations per state and federal rules.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, healthcare providers, and store leadership.
• Support daily pharmacy workflow and ensure high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and required documentation.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and control of pharmacy supplies.
• Address patient questions promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment.
• Support training and development of technicians and staff as needed.
