Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist in Tennessee to oversee daily pharmacy operations, dispense medications accurately, counsel patients and provide immunizations as needed.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and compliance with regulations. The position offers weekend availability and a supportive team in a retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during shifts.
• Assist as primary pharmacist-on-duty and ensure safe prescription fulfillment.
• Follow workflow procedures and protect patient safety at all times.
• Deliver immunizations and support Pharmacy Technicians in learning immunization practices.
• Maintain inventory with focus on cold chain and regulatory compliance.
