Job summary

Ingles Markets Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe dispensing, provide patient counseling, and support daily store operations. You will uphold regulatory compliance and collaborate with pharmacy teammates to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires an active pharmacist license, PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, CPR and immunizer certification, and prior retail experience. You will lead patient care, manage immunizations, and help train technicians in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the applicable state.
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Customer service and communication excellence.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
• Certified Immunizer and CPR certification.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with regulations.
• Provide patients with clear and professional medication counseling.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations per state/federal rules.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, healthcare providers, and store leadership.
• Support daily pharmacy workflow and ensure high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and required documentation.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and control of supplies.
• Address patient questions promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment.
• Support training and development of technicians and team members.
