Job summary

Ingles Markets Pharmacy in Elizabethton, Tennessee seeks a licensed Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe and accurate dispensing, deliver patient counseling, and support daily pharmacy operations with integrity.

You will administer immunizations, maintain regulatory compliance, supervise technicians, and collaborate with store leadership to provide outstanding service and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the applicable state.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Certified Immunizer.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Provide patients with clear and professional medication counseling.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, healthcare providers, and store leadership.
• Support daily pharmacy workflow and promote efficient, high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and required pharmacy documentation.
• Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, and control of pharmacy supplies.
• Address patient questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Support training and development of pharmacy technicians and other team members as needed.
