Job summary

CVS Health Staff Pharmacist role within our Retail locations focuses on delivering exceptional patient care while leading the pharmacy team. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee dispensing, immunizations, and daily operations with a commitment to safety and quality.

You will also coach staff, manage prescription fulfillment, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the broader healthcare team to improve patient outcomes at the local level.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure safe and accurate dispensing.
• Provide patient counseling and immunizations.
• Coach and support pharmacy team to meet performance metrics.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and act as proxy when needed.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies.
