Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy operations. You will serve as a role model for the pharmacy team, support the Pharmacy Manager, and oversee daily pharmacy activities during your shift while ensuring safe dispensing and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and supervise as acting pharmacist-on-duty when required.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and maintain patient safety.
• Provide patient counseling, immunizations, and clinical care where permissible.
• Support inventory management and protection of cold chain products.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve insurance and medication issues.
• Adhere to state board regulations and CVS Health policies.
